JBL Sansibar Sand Grey is a premium, fine-grained substrate designed to serve as an ideal foundation for diverse aquatic ecosystems, including fresh and saltwater aquariums, as well as specialized aqua-terrariums. Its uncoloured, natural sandy composition provides excellent structural support while maintaining the biological integrity of the water column.
The unique physical properties of this sand are highly beneficial for plant life, promoting vigorous growth by preventing the accumulation and seeping in of sludge or other waste materials due to its fine granulation and density. Furthermore, the material is formulated to be non-polluting, ensuring that no unwanted pollutants are released into the water, thereby maintaining optimal water chemistry for all inhabitants.
